Welcome to my website.  My name is Bennett Suthers.

I have resided in Gympie since the late 1950’s, my father was born in Gympie as was my grandfather. My great grandfather arrived I believe in the 1880’s. He was a mine manager until his death in 1906, he was also Bennett Suthers. Great Uncle William Suthers was a previous Mayor of Gympie, his brother were John, Edward, Bennett, Herbert and Joseph. I am married and have a grown up family who were all educated in local schools.
